Alberta Lymphedema Association The mission of the Alberta Lymphedema Association is to optimize health for lymphedema patients through education and support, and increase awareness of lymphedema within the medical community and the general public of Alberta.
We support and encourage the advancement of Lymphedema Research.
We raise funds to achieve the goals of the Alberta Lymphedema Association.

CanSurmountCanSurmount helps people with cancer. They are a support group who are available to give emotional support to cancer patients and their families. Trained volunteers go to the hospital or home to share encouragement, strength and understanding. Training is provided from Canadian Cancer Society.
HOPE Cancer Support Association of Alberta HOPE (Helping Ourselves Psychologically & Physically
Everyday) is a non-profit, charitable society founded in 1984 by Ginger Cunes. HOPE encourages patient and health care professional partnerships, and promotes physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health in people living with cancer (during and after treatment) and their families through weekly meetings. Meetings include a gentle relaxation exercise and open discussion on a wide range of topics. One-on-one support is also available.

Wings of Hope
Wings of Hope is a volunteer run organization raising money for women living with Breast Cancer. We give immediate help with everyday expenses and needs on a temporary basis. Help comes in the form of child care, mortgage payment assistance, utilities, groceries, medication etc. We also sponsor a breast cancer patient per TAPESTRY retreat program at the Tom Baker Cancer Center. We also have purchased equipment for the Tom Baker and donated money for the clinical labs.
